`
`Counsel,
`
`The Board is in receipt of the parties’ request to extend the due dates for the preliminary responses for the nine matters identified
`below. While the Board considers this request, we now grant a one week extension for the preliminary response due this Friday, January
`22, 2021 in IPR2020-01519. Thus, the new deadline for Patent Owner to file its preliminary response in IPR2020-01519 is January 29,
`2021.

`
`Andrew,
`
`Further to the email below, since BlackBerry and MobileIron are in agreement for a one-month extension across all
`nine IPR matters pending between them, is it correct to assume the requested extensions will be granted? The first
`preliminary response is presently due this Friday (1/22). Any information you can provide would be greatly
`appreciated.

`All counsel are available Thursday from 1-6pm Eastern and Friday 1:30-6pm. Counsel have also reached agreement
`on the requested extension. The original request was for an extension of the POPR deadlines in five IPRs in which
`Blackberry is the petitioner and MobileIron the patent owner. There are four more IPRs in which MobileIron is the
`petitioner and Blackberry the patent owner. The agreement is for a one-month extension of the POPR deadlines in
`all nine matters. The matters are listed below, along with the current POPR deadline and the agreed extended
`deadline.

`
`Petitioner BlackBerry Limited opposes Patent Owner’s request to the extent it would delay any projected date for a decision on institution or the

`Re: IPR2020-01519; IPR2020-01593; IPR2020-01594; IPR2020-01604; IPR2020-01634
`
`To the Board:
`
`MobileIron, Inc., Patent Owner in the five above-referenced IPR matters, requests leave to file in each a motion for an extension of the
`deadline for filing its Patent Owner Preliminary Response. MobileIron was acquired by Ivanti, Inc. in a transaction that closed December
`1, 2020. New counsel have filed powers of attorney and former counsel have filed motions to withdraw. Updated mandatory notices
`have been filed.
`
`MobileIron seeks to extend the POPR deadlines from the current deadlines of January 22, 28, and 29 to March 1, 2021. This would give
`Patent Owner the full the full three-month statutory period from the December 1 date on which MobileIron was acquired by Ivanti, Inc.
`
`Patent Owner’s counsel first contacted Petitioner’s counsel regarding the requested extension on December 21, 2020. Petitioner’s
`counsel have responded but have not yet indicated whether Petitioner opposes the motion or plans to file a response.
`
`Thank you,
`
