`
`Counsel,
`
`In response to your April 22, 2021 email, the Panels of the above-identified, related inter partes review
`proceedings do not believe a conference call on modifying the respective Scheduling Orders is necessary
`and grant the parties’ joint request to change the date of final oral argument in these proceedings. Per the
`parties’ indication of availability, the final hearing for these proceedings will take place on Monday,
`January 10, 2022. This email will be followed by an order so-modifying the respective Scheduling
`Orders. If you have any further questions on this issue, please contact the Board.

`
`Dear PTAB,
`
`Petitioner New World Medical, Inc. writes to request an Initial Conference Call to respectfully
`request a modification to the Scheduling Orders in IPR Nos. 2020-01573, 2020-01711, 2021-00017,
`2021-00065, and 2021-00066. Petitioner’s request relates to the date of the oral argument, which
`has been set for January 4, 2022 in each of the above-referenced proceedings.
`
`Petitioner’s lead counsel in these proceedings, Todd Tucker, will be out of the country through
`January 2, 2022 on a family vacation that was planned prior to institution of these proceedings. To
`allow for the possibility of travel delays and to allow for preparation time for oral arguments across
`these five proceedings, Petitioner would like to respectfully request that the date for oral argument
`be moved either up to the week of December 20, 2021 or back to the week of January 10, 2022
`(subject to the Board’s availability). Petitioner waited to make this request until institution decisions
`
`IPR2020-01573
`Ex. 3003
`
`

`

`were issued in all the above-referenced proceedings to determine the date set for oral argument in
`these proceedings and avoid burdening the Board with separate requests in each proceeding.
`Patent Owners do not oppose Petitioner’s request but Patent Owners’ counsel is unavailable for oral
`argument on December 24, 2021.
`
`Regards,
`Kyle Deighan
