`GuideLiner Device
`
`A dericejbr providing extra guide culheler buck-up support during l"l( 'A procedures.
`
`The initial Guide-Liner device is a SP catheter that is inserted through a standard 6F guide
`catheter. It is intended to extend the guide catheter support up to 5 cm into the coronary artery.
`The initial design is an over-the-wire configuration~ with a rapid exchange version to follow.
`Larger 6F and 7F sizes of the GuideLiner are also being developed. Prototypes have been made
`and evaluated. We expect to submit a 510(k) for the over-the-wire versions by late third quarter
`2005.
