`IPR2020-01343 and IPR2020-01344 (Patent RE46,116 E)
`INTRODUCTION
`I.
`Medtronic, Inc. and Medtronic Vascular, Inc. (“Petitioner”) filed
`petitions pursuant to 35 U.S.C. §§ 311–319 requesting inter partes review of
`certain claims of U.S. Patent No. 8,142,413 (“the ’413 patent”) in IPR2020-
`01341 and IPR2020-01342 and of certain claims of U.S. Patent
`No. RE46,116 E (“the ’116 patent”) in IPR2020-01343 and IPR2020-01344.
`Each petition identified Teleflex Innovations S.À.R.L. as the patent owner.
`In each proceeding, Teleflex Life Sciences Limited (“Teleflex”) filed a
`notice identifying itself as the owner of the patent being challenged in that
`proceeding. IPR2020-01341, Paper 7, 2; IPR2020-01342, Paper 5, 2;
`IPR2020-01343, Paper 4, 2; IPR2020-01344, Paper 4, 2. Teleflex further
`explained, “Teleflex Innovations S.A.R.L. merged into Teleflex Medical
`Devices S.A.R.L., and Teleflex Medical Devices S.A.R.L. transferred
`ownership” of the ’413 patent and the ’116 patent “to Teleflex Life Sciences
`Limited.” See, for each proceeding, id. at 2 n.1 (furthering stating that “[t]he
`assignment documents were recorded with the United States Patent &
`Trademark Office on January 27, 2020”).
`In recognition of Teleflex as the owner of the ’413 patent and the
`’116 patent, the original case caption is modified to replace Teleflex
`Innovations S.À.R.L with Teleflex Life Sciences Limited as Patent Owner,
`as shown in the attached sample case caption. All future filings in each
`proceeding shall conform to the example provided.
`Accordingly, is
`ORDERED that the case caption in IPR2020-01341, IPR2020-01342,
`IPR2020-01343, and IPR2020-01344 shall identify Teleflex Life Sciences
`Limited as Patent Owner for all future filings, as shown in the attached
`sample case caption.
