`In an e-mail dated November 17, 2021, we authorized HP Inc.
`(“Petitioner”) and Synkloud Technologies, LLC (“Patent Owner”) to file a
`motion to terminate the instant proceeding. On November 22, 2021, and
`pursuant to 35 U.S.C. § 317 and 37 C.F.R. § 42.74, Petitioner and Patent
`Owner filed a joint motion to terminate this proceeding and a joint request to
`have their settlement agreement (Exhibit 2040) treated as confidential
`business information under 35 U.S.C. § 317 and 37 C.F.R. § 42.74.
`Papers 23, 24. In the joint motion, the parties represent that the settlement
`agreement is with “regard to the patent[] at issue in [this] proceeding[]” and
`is a true and correct copy. Paper 23, 2–3.2
`At this juncture of the proceeding, the Board has not entered a final
`decision. Based on the facts presented in this case, we determine that it is
`appropriate to terminate the proceeding.
`Accordingly, it is:
`ORDERED that the joint request that the settlement agreement be
`treated as business confidential information to be kept separate from the
`patent files (Paper 24) is granted;
`FURTHER ORDERED that the joint motion to terminate the
`proceeding (Paper 23) is granted; and
`FURTHER ORDERED that the proceeding is terminated.
