`
`Hi Milton --
`
`1 know you've probably been extremely busy, but 1 have to put in another reminder that at least a
`provisional application should be filed as soon as possible in advance of any "online" or "trial" date
`for the new national drill -down ad or consumer classified ad service, in order to avoid a possible loss
`of any foreign and U.S. patent rights you may have therein.
`
`When we last spoke, you mentioned that that date might be the end of may. since 1 have already prepared
`a lengthy patent specification, awaiting only the completion of your system and component architecture
`d rawings and core logic diagrams, you should consider the option of authorizing me to go ahead and file a
`provisional application with the specification "as is" and with only your handdrawn sketches, or even
`with no sketches, by tomorrow, the last day before the end of may. It would be better to claim a filing
`date ahead of the publication date, even if the filing is somewhat incomplete. when you have completed
`the drawing materials and 1 have reworked the application into final form, it can then be filed as a
`formal application claiming the benefit of the provisional filing date.
`
`Pls let mw know if you concur with this approach. If so, please fax your handdrawn sketches which we
`used in our meetings to my office fax number 531-7585.
