` Petitioners’ Request for Oral Argument
`
`Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 42.70 and the Board’s Scheduling Order (Paper 17),
`
`dated December 4, 2020, Petitioners Microsoft Corporation and HP Inc. hereby
`
`respectfully request oral argument in this proceeding on the grounds of
`
`unpatentability on which trial was instituted, and any additional issues on which the
`
`Board seeks clarification. The oral argument is currently scheduled for September
`
`2, 2021. See Paper 17.
`
`Petitioners respectfully request that the hearing for this IPR be consolidated
`
`with the hearing for IPR2020-01032 and that each side be given thirty minutes to
`
`present its arguments. Because Petitioners bear the ultimate burden of proof that
`
`the claims at issue in this review are unpatentable, Petitioners would oppose any
`
`request by Patent Owner for a sur-rebuttal.
`
`Petitioners also respectfully request permission to use audio/visual
`
`equipment to display demonstrative exhibits. Petitioners request the use of a
`
`projector and screen that connects to a laptop computer provided the oral argument
`
`is conducted in-person. If the oral argument is conducted by remote video-
`
`conferencing, Petitioners request permission to use video-conferencing software to
`
`allow the presentation of demonstratives.
