`
`Thanks for this. We’ll have a close look at the transition and get back to you. We’re having a
`fierce internal debate regarding what is permissible over the transition period for an Apple
`product.

`Hi Graham,
`
`I hope you're doing well. It was great meeting you at the lightfield conference at Stanford, more than
`a couple of weeks ago.
`Following our discussion then about the transition between the wide and tele cameras, I'm including
`a link below to several videos we captured with our zoom camera (integrated in a handset) and
`reference cameras. There are several outdoor scenes, including challenging cases. Although there is
`still some instability in the exposure settings, in most cases the transition is smooth and only parallax
`shift is visible, in objects that out not on the plane of focus. It's not 100% perfect yet, but we are
`continuing to improve the ISP and warping settings to make it even smoother.
`
`Note: the zoom camera module here is different than the one we gave you – it has a 13Mpix 1/3"
`sensor for the wide and an 8Mpix 1/4" sensor for the tele. In this module, the tele focal length is
`shorter than that of the tele lens in the 13+13 module, so the effective zoom range is reduced.
`However, the module is only 6mm in height. Also, note that digital video stabilization is currently
`disabled in our camera (we plan to enable it in the next several weeks).
`
`I hope you find these comparisons useful. And please let me know if there's anything else I can do to
`assist in the our technology evaluation process.
`
`Best regards,
`Noy
