`Petitioner’s Request for Oral Argument
`Case IPR2020-00179
`U.S. Patent No. 6,844,990
`
`Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 42.70 and the Board’s Scheduling Order of May 26,
`
`
`
`2020 (Paper 7) (the “Scheduling Order”), Petitioner LG Electronics Inc.
`
`(“Petitioner”) respectfully requests oral argument in connection with this
`
`proceeding (IPR2020-00179). Per the Scheduling Order, the oral argument will
`
`take place on February 8, 2021.
`
`Petitioner is mindful of the USPTO’s March 13, 2020 notice that all oral
`
`hearings will be conducted remotely until further notice
`
`(https://www.uspto.gov/aboutus/news-updates/uspto-update-person-meetings).
`
`Accordingly, to the extent that all hearings continue to be conducted remotely as of
`
`February 8, 2021, Petitioner is willing and able to participate in a remote hearing.
`
`Petitioner requests one (1) hour in which to present its arguments for this
`
`proceeding.
`
`To comply with 37 C.F.R. § 42.70(a)’s requirement that this request “must
`
`specify the issues to be argued,” and without waiving argument on any issue not
`
`specifically identified below, Petitioner specifies at least the following issues to be
`
`argued:
`
`• That per 35 U.S.C. § 103, claim 5 of U.S. Patent No. 6,844,990 is
`
`unpatentable under as obvious over Tada;
