`Under 37 C.F.R. § 42.70(a) and the Board’s May 8, 2020 Scheduling
`
`Order (Paper 10), patent owner respectfully requests oral argument on the is-
`
`sues raised in the Petition for Inter Partes Review of U.S. Patent No.
`
`6,072,450, Patent Owner’s Preliminary Response, Patent Owner’s Response,
`
`Petitioner’s Reply, and Patent Owner’s Sur-Reply relating to the four insti-
`
`tuted grounds, rebuttal to petitioner’s presentation on all matters, and any
`
`other issues that the Board deems necessary for issuing a final written deci-
`
`sion.
`
`Patent owner respectfully requests 45 minutes per side of argument time.
`
`The argument is scheduled for February 9, 2021. (Paper 10 at 10.) The four
`
`instituted grounds are:
`
`• Ground I: Anticipation of claims 1–2, 4–8, and 15–16 by Utsugi
`
`• Ground II: Obviousness of claims 1–2, 4–8, and 15–16 over
`
`Utsugi
`
`• Ground III: Obviousness of claim 3 over the combination of
`
`Utsugi and Manabe
`
`• Ground IV: Obviousness of claims 9, 11–13, and 17–18 over the
`
`combination of Utsugi and Eida
`

`If the oral argument will be conducted in person, patent owner also re-
`
`quests that the Board provide audio-visual equipment to display demonstra-
`
`tive exhibits, including a projector to be connected to a laptop, and a document
`
`camera for displaying documents of record. In accordance with the Trial Prac-
`
`tice Guide, Fed. Reg. Vol. 77, No. 157, at 48768, Patent Owner will contact
`
`the Board Trial Division paralegal to discuss logistics relating to oral argu-
`
`ment.
