`

`IPR2020-00131
`Patent RE 45,380
`
`
`Pursuant to the Patent and Trademark Office’s Final Rule Setting and

`Adjusting Patent Fees, 78 Fed. Reg. 4212, 4232–4234 (Jan. 18, 2013),
`
`Petitioners, Medtronic Inc. and Medtronic Vascular Inc. request a refund in the

`
`On November 14, 2019, Petitioner filed a Petition for Inter Partes Review
`

`request. Petitioner also deposited $15,000.00 (Post-Institution fee up to 15
`
`claims).
`
`On June 26, 2020, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board denied Institution.
`
`(Paper 20). Then, on October 14, 2020, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board denied
`
`Petitioner’s Request on Rehearing of Decision Denying Institution. (Paper 24).
`
`Accordingly, Petitioner requests a refund in the amount of $15,000.00 for the

`post-institution fees that it has paid to the USPTO in connection with this
`
`proceeding.
`
`
`1 The USPTO has since increased filing fees effective October 2, 2020.
