`having full and complete authority to enter into a binding settlement, as well as the principal
`attorneys responsible for the litigation." Id. at 2, see ECF No. 103.
`On March 17, 2020, Chief Judge Larry A. Burns issued an Order in response to the COVID-
`19 public emergency (“CJO #18”) to protect public safety and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
`See CJO #18 at ¶ 9. Accordingly, the Court CONVERTS the MSC to telephonic for all attendees.
`To facilitate the telephonic format of this conference, the Court ORDERS the following:
`1. The Court will begin the MSC on its teleconference line. Counsel shall use the dial-
`in information that will be filed by the Court as a separate notice on the docket. The notice
`will be restricted to case participants only.
`2. Counsel and parties or client representatives with full settlement authority for each
`party must be immediately available by telephone for the duration of the MSC.
`3. All participants shall be prepared to devote their full attention to this proceeding
`as if they were attending in person, i.e., cannot be driving while speaking to the Court.
`4. Throughout the conference, the Court will initiate separate, confidential calls with
`Plaintiff and Defendants, respectively. Each party must provide the Court with a single phone
`number to use to initiate these calls, with both counsel and parties or representatives already
`conferenced in and ready to engage in settlement discussions. Counsel must email the Court at
`efile_major@casd.uscourts.gov no later than April 22, 2020 to provide each party’s
`preferred phone number for the MSC and any other necessary call-in information for the Court
`(i.e., conference line passcodes).
`5. Failure to participate may result in the imposition of sanctions. All other deadlines
`and requirements remain as previously set except as explicitly modified by this order. See ECF
`Nos. 103, 106.
`IT IS SO ORDERED.
