`
`AMENDMENTS TO THE SPECIFICATION
`
`Please amendtheTitle of the instant application as follows:
`Apparatus And Method ForInteracting With Internet Content Via One Or More
`Applications That Do Not Include Native Web Browsing Navigation Control Features
`
`Please replace the paragraph beginning at page 6,line 15 of the
`
`specification with the following paragraph:
`
`In the system and method of the presen t invention, a user logs into a server by
`
`providing a login identifier to a login construct. The login identifier is used by the server
`
`to obtain an unprocessed userprofile that corresponds to the user. The unprocessed
`
`userprofile is processed by the server to generate a processed userprofile.
`
`Advantageously, this processing step allows for up-to-date refinement of the user
`
`profile. Up-to-date refinements include, for example, the addition of advertisements
`
`directed to the user based on one or more characteristics in the user profile. The
`
`processed userprofile is delivered to the client computer associated with the user. The
`
`processed userprofile includes references to the networked information monitors
`(NIMs). As used herein, the term networked information monitor or NIM refers to a fully
`configurableframe with one or more controls; the fram through which contentis
`
`optionally presented. Thefully configurable frame utilized in accordance with the
`
`invention stands in contrast to present web browsers, which are branded by the browser
`
`vendor and which havelimited meansby whichto alter the controls associated with the
` browser.
