`Counsel for Petitioners Apple Inc. (“Petitioner Apple”), Samsung

`Electronics Co., Ltd., and Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (“Petitioner

`Samsung”) and Patent Owner Firstface Co., Ltd. (“Patent Owner Firstface”)
`
`provide notice to the Board of their stipulation to modify Due Dates 1-3 and Patent
`
`Owner Firstface’s agreement to waive its right to file a motion to amend:
`
`WHEREAS, on January 23, 2019, Petitioners Apple and Samsung filed a
`
`petition for IPR challenging U.S. Patent 8,831,557 (“’557”) (IPR2019-00612);
`
`WHEREAS, on January 23, 2019, Petitioner Apple filed petitions for IPR
`
`challenging U.S. Patents 9,633,373 (“’373”) (IPR2019-00613) and 9,779,419
`
`(“’419”) (IPR2019-00614);
`
`WHEREAS, on April 24, 2019, Petitioner Apple filed a petition for IPR
`
`challenging two additional dependent claims of the ’373 (IPR2019-01011) and a
`
`petition for IPR challenging one additional dependent claim of the ’419 (IPR2019-
`
`01012);
`
`WHEREAS, on August 5, 2019, the Board instituted IPR2019-00612 (’557)
`
`and IPR2019-00613 (’373), and on August 19, 2019, the Board instituted
`
`IPR2019-00614 (’419);
`
`WHEREAS, the Board issued scheduling orders with identical schedules
`
`(i.e., Due Dates 1-8) in IPR2019-00612 (’557), IPR2019-00613 (’373), and

`IPR2019-00614 (’419). See IPR2019-00612, Paper 12; IPR2019-00613, Paper 11;

`
`WHEREAS Petitioners Apple and Samsung and Patent Owner Firstface
`
`have agreed that in exchange for extending Due Dates 1-3 by four weeks in
`
`IPR2019-00612 (’557), IPR2019-00613 (’373), and IPR2019-00614 (’419),
`
`Firstface will waive its right to file a motion to amend in IPR2019-00612 (’557),
`
`IPR2019-00613 (’373), IPR2019-00614 (’419), IPR2019-01011 (’373), and
`
`IPR2019-01012 (’419);
`
`WHEREAS, Petitioner Apple and Patent Owner Firstface have agreed that
`
`IPR2019-01011 (’373) and IPR2019-01012 (’419), if instituted, should be
`
`consolidated and aligned with the schedule entered by the Board in IPR2019-
`
`00613 (’373) and IPR2019-00614 (’419), as modified pursuant to this stipulation;
`
`WHEREAS, Petitioners Apple and Samsung and Patent Owner Firstface
`
`emailed the Board on September 5, 2019 requesting guidance on scheduling in
`
`IPR2019-00612 (’557), IPR2019-00613 (’373), IPR2019-00614 (’419), IPR2019-
`
`01011 (’373), and IPR2019-01012 (’419);
`
`WHEREAS, the Board emailed the parties on September 6, 2019, directing
`
`the parties to file a joint stipulation to change the dates for Due Dates 1-3 and
`
`setting forth that Patent Owner Firstface has waived its right to file a motion to
`

`amend in IPR2019-00612 (’557), IPR2019-00613 (’373), IPR2019-00614 (’419),
`
`IPR2019-01011 (’373), and IPR2019-01012 (’419);
`
`WHEREAS, the Board’s September 6, 2019 email further stated that “[i]f
`
`the stipulation is entered in the -612, -613, and -614 proceedings, and if the
`
`IPR2019-01011 and -01012 proceedings are instituted, the Board will enter
`
`scheduling orders in the instituted proceedings with Due Dates 1-8 set as specified
`
`in the parties’ email.”
`
`NOW THEREFORE, Petitioners Apple and Samsung and Patent Owner
`
`Firstface hereby stipulate as follows:
`
`Due Date 1 is moved from October 28, 2019 to November 25, 2019;
`
`Due Date 2 is moved from January 21, 2020 to February 18, 2020;
`
`Due Date 3 is moved from March 3, 2020 to March 31, 2020;
`
`Patent Owner Firstface agrees to waive its right to file a motion to amend in
`
`IPR2019-00612 (’557).
