`I, Christopher James Bailey-Kellogg, state and declare as follows.

`I am currently a Professor of Computer Science at Dartmouth College
`
`in Hanover, New Hampshire.
`

`I changed my narrie to Christopher James Bailey-Kellogg in August,
`
`1993. Before that, my name was Christopher James Kellogg.
`

`I am the author of Kellogg, Christopher James, "Visual Memory"
`
`("Kellogg," Exhibit 1003), which was completed in 1993. I wrote Kellogg in
`
`connection with earning my joint Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in
`
`Computer Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I have
`
`reviewed Ex. 100 1 and it is a true and correct copy of Kellogg.
`

`On April21, 1993, I signed and submitted Kellogg to the Department
`
`of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of
`
`Technology ("MIT"). This was the final version of Kellogg and no changes were
`
`made to it thereafter. No other version of Kellogg was submitted to the Department
`
`of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and no other version was
`
`published.

`I submitted a complete copy of my thesis paper (Kellogg, Ex. 1001) to
`
`the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with the,
`
`expectation that the Department would forward my thesis paper to the MIT
`

`Libraries for publication. I understand the date stamp of July 9, 1993, on the first
`
`page of Kellogg, to be evidence of the receipt of my thesis paper by the MIT

`Libraries.

`I did not place any holds on Kellogg nor am I aware of any such holds
`
`that would have restricted public access to Kellogg.
`

`I hereby declare that all statements made herein of my own
`
`knowledge are true, that all statements made on information and belief are believed
`
`to be true, and that such statements are made with the knowledge that willful false
`
`statements and the like are punishable by fine or imprisonment, or both, under 18
