`I. DISCUSSION
`Patent Owner, Cellspin Soft, Inc., filed a Motion for Withdrawal and
`Substitution of Backup Counsel pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 42.10. Paper 14
`(“Mot.”). In its Motion, Patent Owner requests authorization to withdraw its
`current back-up counsel, Mr. Eric Carr, and “appointment of Stephen F.
`Schlather (USPTO Reg. No. 45,081) of Edmonds & Schlather, PLLC.”
`Mot. 2. Patent Owner represents that Mr. Carr is leaving the employ of
`Edmonds & Schlather, PLLC and Patent Owner requests that current
`designated backup counsel, Mr. Carr, “be deemed withdrawn from the
`present proceeding, and new backup counsel, Stephen F. Schlather be
`designated backup counsel.” Id. Petitioner, Panasonic Corporation and
`Panasonic Corporation of North America. does not oppose the Motion. Id.
`II. ORDER
`In consideration of the foregoing, it is:
`ORDERED that Patent Owner may withdraw its back-up
`counsel, Mr. Carr, from this proceeding;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Patent Owner shall file a Power of
`Attorney under 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(b) and update its mandatory notice under
`37 C.F.R. § 42.8(b) designating Mr. Schlather as an additional attorney to
`transact business in this proceeding; and
`FURTHER ORDERED that upon filing of the updated power of
`attorney and mandatory notice, Mr. Schlather will be recognized as
`Patent Owner’s new backup counsel for this proceeding.
