`I. RELIEF REQUESTED
`Under 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(e), and as authorized by the Board, Patent Owner,
`
`Paper No. 45
`
`DirectStream, LLC, respectfully requests the Board to authorize the withdrawal of
`
`Christopher L. Evans as backup counsel for Patent Owner in this proceeding.
`
`II. STATEMENT OF REASONS FOR WITHDRAWAL OF COUNSEL
`Christopher L. Evans resigned from the partnership of Shore Chan DePumpo
`
`LLP and is leaving the firm on October 31, 2019.
`
`Patent Owner will continue to be represented by lead counsel, Alfonso Chan,
`
`and multiple backup counsel who can conduct business on behalf of lead counsel
`
`in compliance with 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(a).
`
`Counsel for Patent Owner has conferred with counsel for Petitioner, who has
`
`stated that Petitioner does not oppose the present motion.
`
`No changes to the schedule would be required based upon the grant of this
`
`Motion.
`
`Thus, Patent Owner believes that granting this Motion will not hinder the
`
`economy, the integrity of the patent system, the efficient administration of the
`
`Office, or the ability of the Office to timely complete this proceeding. See 35
`
`U.S.C. § 316(b).

`III. CONCLUSION
`Patent Owner respectfully requests that the Board grant its motion to authorize
`
`Paper No. 45
`
`the withdrawal of Mr. Evans as Backup Counsel for Patent Owner in this
`
`proceeding.
