`Step 3 Inserting a cassette

`You can use the mini DVCAM cassette and mini DV cassette in this camcorder.

`(1) Prepare the power supply.
`(2) Slide TOPEN/a EEECT in the direction ofthe arrow and open the lid.
`The cassette compartment automatically lifts up and opens.
`(3) lnsert the cassette straight as far as possible into the cassette compartment with
`the window facing out and the writevprotect tab facing upward.
`(4) Close the cassette compartment by pressing

`(5) After the cassette compartment goes down completety, close the lid until it
