`By publication of a notice in the Federal Register on August 14, 2017, pursuant to
`
`subsection (b) of section 33'? of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, the Commission instituted this
`
`investigation. 82 Fed. Reg. 37899.
`
`On August 22, 2017, the presiding administrative lawjudge issued an initial determination
`
`setting January 14, 2019 as the target date for completion of this investigation, which is seventeen
`
`months from the date the notice of investigation was published in the Federal Register, and setting
`
`September 14, 2018 as the due date for the final initial determination on violation. Order No. 3,
`
`afi’d, Comm’n Notice ofNon—Review (Sept. 11, 2017).
`
`Due to the retirement ofAdministrative Law Judge Thomas B. Pender, it is the
`determination ofthe undersigned that the target date for completion ofthis investigation be
`
`extended by two weeks to January 28, 2018, which is seventeen and a half months after institution
`
`of the investigation. Thus, the final initial determination on violation shall be due no later than
`
`September 23, 201 3.
`
`Pursuant to 19 C.F.R. § 210.42(h), this initial determination shall become the determination
`
`I of the Commission unless a party files a petition for review of the initial determination pursuant to
`
`19 CPR. § 210.43(a), or the Commission, pursuant to 19 C.F.R. § 210.44, orders on its own
`
