`Petitioners, Facebook, Inc. and WhatsApp Inc., hereby request refund of their

`post-institution fees of $15,000 deposited in the above proceeding on March 6, 2018
`
`for the foregoing reasons:

`Petitioners filed their Petition for Inter Partes Review of U.S. Patent
`
`No. 8,199,747 on March 6, 2018. At that time, Petitioners deposited with the PTAB
`
`the inter partes request and inter partes post-institution fees in the total amount of
`
`$30,500. The fees were charged to Cooley LLP’s account number 50-1283.
`

`
`On September 7, 2018, the Board entered its Order Terminating
`
`Proceeding (Paper 12) prior to its decision on institution.
`
`For the foregoing reasons, Petitioners request reimbursement of the post-
`
`institution fees of $15,000.
