`IPR2018-00558 - Procedural Inquiry regarding Mandatory Notices

`Upon a review of the file history of this case and related district court cases, we discovered that
`an additional district court case involving Pat. No. 9,014,677 should have been listed in an
`updated mandatory notice filing in November. Koninklijke KPN N.V. v. TCL Corporation et
`al., Civil Action 1:18-cv-00928-LPS-CJB (D. Del) was filed on June 22, 2018. At the time of
`filing the case did not involve the ’667 patent, but infringement claims involving the ’667 patent
`were in an amended complaint on November 13, 2018. The case settled quickly with the order
`of Stipulation of Dismissal being entered on January 11, 2019.
`
`We are requesting guidance on the proper procedure at this point, and whether or not an updated
`mandatory notice to list Koninklijke KPN N.V. v. TCL Corporation et al., Civil Action 1:18-cv-
`00928-LPS-CJB (D. Del) as a related matter should be filed. Given that the case has terminated
`it would no longer affect, or be affected by, a decision in the proceeding, but should have been
`previously listed in a mandatory notice. Thank you.
