`
`Your healthcare professional (HCP) may prescribe Myrbetriq (mirabegron) for you because you have
`®
`
`mentioned that you make too many trips to the bathroom, or have frequent leaks and accidents. Your
`
`HCP may also consider Myrbetriq as an option if you have tried other overactive bladder (OAB)
`
`management approaches that did not work for you. Before starting Myrbetriq, it's important that you
`
`understand how it works.
`
`Myrbetriq is the only OAB treatment option in its class that targets the β pathway. When taken as
`3
`
`directed, targeting this pathway can help relax the smooth muscle that surrounds the bladder and
`
`increase the bladder's ability to store urine. Watch the video below to learn more about how a healthy
`
`bladder functions, what causes OAB, and how Myrbetriq may help.
