`INTRODUCTION
`Petitioner respectfully requests oral argument in connection with IPR2017-
`
`01993 for U.S. Patent No. 9,414,199 (“the ’199 Patent”). Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. §
`
`42.70, Petitioner specifies the following issues to be argued:
`
`• Grounds for which inter partes review in this proceeding was instituted
`
`and any issue raised in the Board’s Institution Decision, including
`
`interpretation of the claim limitation: “predicting whether the user
`
`device will be at any of the one or more predetermined locations within
`
`the predetermined maximum amount of time …”;
`
`• Any issue addressed in Petitioner’s papers, including the Petition and
`
`Petitioner’s Reply;
`
`• Any issue addressed in Patent Owner’s papers, including Patent
`
`Owner’s Response and Sur-Reply;
`
`• Any issue raised by the Board or Patent Owner at the oral hearing;
`
`• Any other issue raised in papers filed in this proceeding, including
`
`issues raised in correspondence with the Board or papers yet to be filed;
`
`and
`
`• Any other issue that the Board deems necessary for issuing a final
`
`written decision.

`Petitioner’s Request for Oral Hearing
`The oral hearing for this proceeding and IPR2017-01993 is currently
`
`scheduled for December 4, 2018. See Paper 11 (Scheduling Order) at 7. Petitioner
`
`requests half of the time that the Board determines is appropriate for oral
`
`argument. Petitioner believes that each side needs no more than 45 minutes, in
`
`aggregate, to present arguments and respond to the Board’s questions.
`
`Petitioner additionally requests that the Board’s staff provide audio-visual
`
`equipment to display demonstrative exhibits, including (a) a monitor or projector
`
`to be connected to a laptop, (b) an ELMO projector, and (c) a projection screen.
