`Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(e), and as authorized by the Board in an e-

`mail dated September 7, 2017, current counsel for Microsoft Corporation and
`
`Microsoft Mobile Inc. (collectively “Petitioners”) respectfully request
`
`authorization to withdraw Jared Crop as back-up counsel in this proceeding.
`
`
`
`Petitioners have conferred with Patent Owner’s counsel, and Patent Owner
`
`does not oppose this motion.
`

`STATEMENT OF REASONS FOR WITHDRAWAL OF COUNSEL
`
`
`
`Mr. Crop is no longer associated with the law firm Perkins Coie LLP, and as
`
`such, no longer represents Petitioners. Petitioners will continue to be represented
`
`by Christina McCullough (Reg. No. 58,720) and Chad Campbell (Pro Hac Vice).
`
`
`
`It is believed that granting this Motion will not hinder the economy, the
`
`integrity of the patent system, the efficient administration of the Office, or the
`
`ability of the Office to timely complete this proceeding. See 35 U.S.C. § 316(b).
`
`
`
`Updated Mandatory Notices under 37 C.F.R. § 42.8(b)(3) and (b)(4) will be
`
`filed upon grant of the present motion.
