`
` DENVER, Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- MeetingOne, Corp., a leading provider of
` advanced business teleconferencing services and Jabber.com, Inc., provider of
` scalable Jabber(TM) Instant Messaging solutions and services and a subsidiary
` of Webb Interactive Services, Inc. (Nasdaq: WEBB), today announced they have
` entered into a comprehensive multifaceted strategic marketing, development,
` referral and customer relationship.
` Under the agreement, Jabber.com will provide MeetingOne's development
` department with professional services for the integration of Jabber into
` MeetingOne's Click & Meet(TM) advanced teleconferencing platform. The
` integrated solution will propose to MeetingOne customers a new MeetingOne
` branded IM client that has been enhanced to allow for instant Click & Meet(TM)
` capabilities. MeetingOne customers today enjoy advanced teleconferencing
` services through a simple, easy-to-use, permanent and personalized toll free
` conference room phone number. This number allows companies to instantly
` initiate a teleconference with integrated Web collaboration tools including
` online voting, file sharing, website co-browsing and more. Enhanced by
` customized Jabber technology, MeetingOne users will now be able to initiate
` teleconferencing right from their desktop by highlighting users within their
` instant messaging client and selecting a single button to teleconference.
` "We strongly believe that the right combination between text, voice and
` video, enhanced by an interoperable and reliable presence detection system is
` the future of teleconferencing for our customers. Jabber.com is the perfect
` partner for MeetingOne to make this vision a reality. The new strategic
` agreement with Jabber will bring to MeetingOne and its customers a wonderful
` opportunity to rapidly benefit from the integration of these technologies and
` our Click & Meet(TM) architecture. MeetingOne's customers experience will be
` exponentially enhanced," said Pascal Lenoir, President and CEO of MeetingOne,
` Corp.
` As part of a larger on-going relationship, MeetingOne will become a
` customer by upgrading to Jabber.com's Commercial Server v2.0 when it becomes
` available at the end of Q1, 2001. The companies will also jointly promote
` their respective and combined solutions and cooperate in joint marketing
` opportunities and channel development.
` "This kind of advanced integration between today's teleconferencing
` capabilities and instant messaging are going to re-define and expand the
` concept of what it means to instant message. Instant voice, instant
` teleconferencing, instant video are all well within the scope of the Jabber
` platform as fundamentally, Jabber is the only extensible platform for
` real-time communications and presence management. We're pleased to announce
` MeetingOne as both a customer and partner and we're looking forward to
` providing enhanced teleconferencing services through our integrated products,"
` said Andre Durand, founder of Jabber.com.
