`This listing of claims will replace all prior versions, andlisting, of claims in the
`
`application:
`
`Listing of Claims:
`
`1. (currently amended)
`
`A luminaire and accessory kit in combination, the
`
`combination comprising:
`
`a luminaire, comprising:
`
`a heat spreader; a heat sink disposed in thermal communication with the heat
`
`spreader; a light source comprising a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) disposed
`
`in thermal communication with the heat spreader; a power supply electrically connected
`
`to the light source; an electrical supply line havinga first end connected to the power
`
`supply, and a second end connected to a plug-in connector; and, an optic disposed in
`
`
`
`optical communication with the LEDs securely-retained-+elativete-atleastone-oftheheat
`
`
`
`spreaderandtheheatsink; and
`
`an accessory kit, comprising:
`
`at least one of: a first pre-wired jumper comprising a pair of insulated electrical
`
`wires havinga first plug-in connectorelectrically connected at one end and an Edison
`
`base electrically connected at the other end; and, a second pre-wired jumper comprising a
`
`pair of insulated electrical wires having a second plug-in connectorelectrically connected
`
`at one end and wacennected cutwire endsat the other end;
`
`wherein the plug-in connectorofthe first pre-wired jumper and the second pre-
`
`wired jumper are each configured to electrically engage with the plug-in connectorof the
`
`electrical supply line.
`
`2. (original) The combination of Claim 1, wherein the accessory kit includes
`
`both the first pre-wired jumper and the second pre-wired jumper.
`
`Satco's Ex. 1005, Page 2
`
`Satco's Ex. 1005, Page 2
`
`
`
`3. (original) The combination of Claim 1, wherein the heat sink is substantially
`
`ring-shaped, and is disposed around and coupled to an outer periphery of the heat
`
`spreader.
`
`4. (original) The combination of Claim 1, wherein the heat spreader, the heat
`
`sink and the optic, in combination, have an overall height H and an overall outside
`
`dimension D suchthat the ratio of H/D is equal to or less than 0.25.
`
`5. (original) The combination of Claim 1, wherein the heat spreader, the heat
`
`sink and the optic, in combination, are so dimensioned as to cover: an opening defined by
`
`a nominally sized four-inch can light fixture; and, an opening defined by a nominally
`
`sized four-inch electrical junction box.
`
`6. (original) The combination of Claim 1, wherein the LEDsare disposed on
`
`the heat spreader, the heat spreader being configured to dissipate heat from the LEDs.
`
`7. (original) The combination of Claim 1, wherein the accessory kit further
`
`comprises a set of springs, each spring havinga first portion configured to securely
`
`engage with the luminaire, and a second portion configured to deflect and slidably engage
`
`with an interior surface of a can-type light fixture.
`
`8. (original) The combination of Claim 7, wherein each spring ofthe set of
`
`springs is formed from flat stock springsteel.
`
`9. (original) The combination of Claim 1, wherein the heat spreader and the
`
`heat sink in combination define a base, wherein the optic is securely retained by the base
`
`via a snap-fit engagement betweenthe optic and the base.
`
`10. (original) The combination of Claim 1, wherein the heat spreader and the
`
`heat sink in combination define a base, wherein the base comprises engagement
`
`openings, wherein the optic comprises engagement tabs, wherein the optic is securely
`
`retained by the base by inserting respective ones of the engagementtabs into respective
`
`ones of the engagement openings androtating the optic relative to a cylindrical axis of
`
`the base such that a portion of each engagementtab is securely retained by respective
`
`portionsof the base.
`
`11. (new)
`
`The combination of Claim 1, wherein:
`
`Satco's Ex. 1005, Page 3
`
`Satco's Ex. 1005, Page 3
`
`
`
`the optic is securely retained relative to at least one of the heat spreader and the
`
`heat sink.
`
`12. (new)
`
`The combination of Claim 1, wherein the accessory kit further
`
`comprises:
`
`at least one twist-on wire connector.
`
`13. (new)
`
`The combination of Claim 1, wherein the accessory kit further
`
`comprises:
`
`at least one fastener configured to secure the luminaire to an electrical junction
`
`box.
`
`14. (new)
`
`The combination of Claim 1, wherein the luminaire further
`
`comprises:
`
`a reflector disposed in optical communication with the LEDs and the optic such
`
`that light emitted from the LEDsis reflected by the reflector toward the optic.
`
`15. (new)
`
`The combination of claim 14, wherein the reflector overlies the
`
`powersupply such that the power supply is hidden from view when viewed from an outer
`
`optic side of the luminaire.

`
`REMARKS
`
`Applicant requests entry of the present amendments to capture originally
`
`disclosed but unclaimed subject matter. No new matteris being introducedbythis
`
`Amendmentas antecedent support is set forth in the originally filed specification, claims
`
`and figures.
`
`For example, Figures 12, 27, 30 and 35 illustrate an optic (115, 315, 315’)
`
`disposed in optical communication with LEDs(120); Figure 31 illustrates a pre-wired
`
`jumper (525) comprising a pair of insulated electrical wires having a plug-in connector
`
`(535) electrically connected at one end and cut wire ends at the other end (527), a twist-
`
`on wire connector (510), and a set of fasteners (515) configured to secure the luminaire to
`
`an electrical junction box; and, Figure 12 illustrates a reflector (145) disposed in optical
`
`communication with the LEDs (120) and the optic (115), and the reflector (145)
`
`overlying a powersupply (140, 160).
`
`Prosecution on the merits is respectfully requested.
