`Patent Owner requests, via an email correspondence to the Board, a
`one-week extension of the deadline for filing its Patent Owner Preliminary
`Response, which is currently due on October 12, 2017 under 37 C.F.R.
`§ 42.107(b). In its email to the Board, Patent Owner indicates that the
`parties are engaged in settlement discussions and that Petitioner does not
`oppose Patent Owner’s request for extension.
`Based on these particular circumstances, we are satisfied that Patent
`Owner has shown good cause for the requested extension. Accordingly,
`Patent Owner’s request for extension is granted.
`The parties are encouraged to complete settlement discussions as soon
`as possible. No further extensions will be granted based on ongoing
`settlement discussions.

`In consideration of the foregoing, it is hereby:
`ORDERED that Patent Owner may file its Preliminary Response by
`October 19, 2017. See 37 C.F.R. § 42.107(a).
