`Patent Owner Genentech, Inc. (“Genentech”) respectfully requests oral

`argument in IPR2017-01374 under § 42.70(a). Pursuant to the Board’s January 29,
`
`2018 Order (Paper 32), oral argument is currently scheduled for July 16, 2018
`
`together with oral argument in IPR2017-01374. The principal issues to be argued
`
`will include:
`
` The patentability of claims 63, 66, 71, 75, 76, and 78 under 35 U.S.C. § 102
`
`over Kurrle;
`
` The patentability of claims 4 and 62-64 under 35 U.S.C. § 102 over Queen
`
`1990;
`
` The patentability of claims 4, 62-64, 66, 67, 69, 71, 72, 75, 76, and 78 under
`
`35 U.S.C. § 103(a) over the combination of Queen 1990 and Kurrle;
`
` The patentability of claim 12 under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) over the combination
`
`of Queen 1990, Kurrle, and Furey;
`
` The patentability of claims 65, 73, 74, 77, and 79 under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a)
`
`over the combination of Queen 1990, Kurrle, Chothia & Lesk, and Chothia
`
`1985;
`
` The patentability of claims 30, 31, and 33 under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) over the
`
`combination of Queen 1990 and Hudziak;
`
` The patentability of claim 42 under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) over the combination

` Any additional issues raised by either party in a request for oral argument,
`
`motion to strike, motion to exclude (if any), or any other motion or paper
`
`filed by either party before oral argument.

`
`Genentech requests the ability to use audio-visual equipment to display
`
`demonstrative exhibits, including a projector and screen to display PowerPoint
`
`slides. If this request for oral hearing is granted, Genentech will direct its requests
`
`for audio-visual equipment to Trials@uspto.gov.
`
`
`
`Genentech requests a total of one hour to present its arguments in
`
`connection with IPR2017-01373 and IPR2017-01374, i.e., two hours total for
`
`IPR2017-01373, IPR2017-01374, IPR2017-01488, and IPR2017-01489.
`
`Genentech also informs the Board that it anticipates that more than five
`
`individuals, including counsel, will attend the argument on its behalf.
