`PETITIONERS’ REQUEST FOR ORAL ARGUMENT
`
`
`1 Pursuant to the Board’s June 6, 2018 Order (Paper 23), IPR2018-00270 has been
`joined with this proceeding.
`
` Pursuant to the Board’s June 6, 2018 Order (Paper 22), IPR2018-00262 has been
`joined with this proceeding.

`
`

`

`
`
`
`
`
`Pursuant to the Board’s Scheduling Order of November 1, 2017 (Paper 11),
`
`Technical Consumer Products, Inc., Nicor, Inc., and Amax Lighting (“Petitioners”)
`
`respectfully request oral argument, currently scheduled for July 26, 2018. Along
`
`with this IPR, there are two additional pending IPR proceedings between
`
`Petitioners and Patent Owner: IPR2017-012803 and IPR2017-01287.4 All three
`
`are scheduled for oral argument on July 26, 2018. Due to the overlap and
`
`similarity of the issues in these three proceedings, Petitioners respectfully request
`
`that the Board allow for a single oral argument for the above identified cases with
`
`each side allowed one hour to present its case.
`
`If the Board permits such consolidation for the purpose of oral argument,
`
`pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 42.70, Petitioners request, without waiving consideration
`
`of any issue not requested, argument on the issues set forth in the Petitions and any
`
`issues noted in Patent Owner’s request for oral argument or otherwise raised by the
`
`Board.
`
`
`3 Petitioners note that the Board has consolidated IPR2018-00261 and IPR2018-
`00271 with IPR2017-01280. (Papers 19 and 20).
`
`4 The Board has also joined IPR2018-00263 and IPR2018-00269 with IPR2017-
`01287. (IPR2018-00263 Paper 7; IPR2081-00269 Paper 7.) These joinders,
`however, have not yet been noticed on the IPR2017-01287 docket.

`
`

`

`
`
`
`Petitioners respectfully request the ability to use audio visual equipment
`
`including the use of a projection and screen for a power point display.
`
`Leedarson Lighting Co., Ltd. and Leedarson America Inc. (collectively,
`
`“Leedarson”) and Jiawei Technology (HK) Ltd., Jiawei Technology (USA) Ltd., and
`
`Shenzhen Jiawei PV Lighting Co., Ltd. (collectively, “Jiawei”) request permission
`
`to attend the oral argument by phone in their roles as understudies. In the event all
`
`Petitioners settle, Leedarson and Jiawei will attend and participate in the oral
`
`argument.
