`Magazine” (Z5-333), Vol. 37, No. 3, certified by Nat. Lib. Use No. 1601045-2-46 of 2016,
`“Certificate of National Diet Library Materials,” is anytime after March 13th, 1995
`(Monday).

`In the case of the present materials, the workflow up to provision for use in the library is
`as follows.
`(1) Sorting, registration and marking the present materials with the library material
`holding stamp, in the registry system of the Domestic Materials Section of the
`Collection Department
`(The reception date certified by the “Certificate of National Diet Library Materials”)
`(2) Sending the present materials from the registry system of the Domestic Materials
`Section of the Collection Department to the Magazines Section of the Serial
`Publications Department
`(This is normally sent so as to arrive on the morning of the day following (1).)
`(3) Preparatory work for provision, such as sorting and shelving work for the present
`materials in the Magazines Section of the Serial Publications Department
`(Normally, this would be sorted in the morning of the day following (1), and shelved
`in the evening, or later.)
`(4) Start of provision of the present materials for usage
`(Normally, the situation would be such as to allow provision of the materials in
`response to a viewing request from the next day on which the library is open,
`following (3).)

`In keeping with Nat. Lib. Use No. 1601045-2-46 of 2016, “Certificate of National Diet
`Library Materials,” (1) is March 9, 1995 (Thursday) and therefore, in normal cases (2)
`and (3) are estimated to be March 10, 1995 (Friday) and, since the library was not open
`on the second Saturday of each month at that time, (4) is estimated to be March 13,
`1995 (Monday).

`The catalog provided to users for “Japan Train Operation Association Magazine” (Z5-
`333), Vol. 37, No. 3, certified by Nat. Lib. Use No. 1601045-2-46 of 2016, “Certificate of
`National Diet Library Materials,” at the time of receipt is the booklet catalog in
`Attachment 1. The catalog in question was produced by outputting data stored in a
`computer system, and this data was first created on July 21st, 1986. Users specified
`magazine names and request numbers with this booklet catalog, and made requests for
`materials by stipulating volume numbers such as “Vo. 37, No. 3” or “latest issue.”
`Furthermore, workers in the Domestic Section of the Collection Department
`managed the record of receipt for these materials with the card in Attachment 2, and the
`materials were shelved on the first underground level of the archives in the annex to the
`main Tokyo branch of the National Diet Library.
