`An einem gewijhnlichen Schraubenschliissel
`mit sechseckiger Oeffnung ist die Oeffnung mit
`sechs
`losen Backen versehen.
`Die Backen
`haben die Form eines Trapezes, dessen Héjhe
`gleich der halben Héhe eines gleichseitigen
`Dreiecks ist, bei dem die Seite gleich der Basis
`des Trapezes ist.
`
`Jede Backe ist so eingelagert, dafs die Basis
`des Trapezes den Raum vom Mittelpunkt des
`Sechsecks bis
`zu einer Ecke desselben ein-
`nimmt. Von den beiden nicht parallelen Seiten
`des Trapezes
`liegt eine an der inneren Seite ‘
`der Sechseckéffnung, die andere an der Basis
`der nebenan liegenden Backe fest an.
`
`Durch Verschiebung der Backen entsteht im
`Mittelpunkt eine sechseckige Oeffnung, die nach
`Stellung der Backen verschieden grofs wird und
`so den eigentlichen verstellbaren Schliissel fiir
`sechseckige Muttern bildet. Die Verschiebung
`Wird dutch eine Schraube bewirkt, welche durch
`das Gestell des Schliissels hindurch mit .einer
`Backe in Verbindung gebracht ist. Die Backen
`sind aus Stahl gefertigt und gehfirtct.
