`In the Scheduling Order dated 04 May 2017 (Paper 10), the Board
`
`encouraged the parties to promptly discuss alternative means for resolving the
`
`disputes regarding the subject matter of these proceedings, and to notify the Board
`
`regarding the status of those discussions.
`
`As encouraged by the Board, Petitioner’s and Patent Owner’s counsel held a
`
`telephone conference on 25 May 2017, and discussed resolution of the parties’
`
`disputes. The parties’ and their counsel also intend to continue settlement
`
`discussions in the future. To date, however, the parties have not resolved the
`
`dispute, nor agreed on an alternative dispute resolution mechanism or process.
