`Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(c) and the Notice of Filing Date Accorded to

`Petition and Time for Filing Patent Owner Preliminary Response entered on Octo-
`
`ber 31, 2016 (Paper 6) in this proceeding, Petitioners, Samsung Electronics Co.,
`
`Ltd. and Samsung Electronics America, Inc., respectfully request pro hac vice ad-
`
`mission of Charles M. Stiernberg in this proceeding. Petitioners have conferred
`
`with Patent Owner, Evolved Wireless, LLC, and Patent Owner does not have any
`
`objections to Petitioners’ request. Petitioners seek Mr. Stiernberg’s assistance be-
`
`cause of his experience assisting Petitioners in their parallel litigation and his fa-
`
`miliarity with the substantive and technical issues involved in this proceeding.

`
`Statement of Facts.
`
`Petitioners’ lead counsel in this proceeding, James M. Glass, is a registered
`
`practitioner (Reg. No. 46,729). Mr. Stiernberg is an experienced patent litigation
`
`attorney, with more than three years of experience, including involvement in fact
`
`and expert discovery, Markman briefing and hearings, and oral arguments in patent
`
`infringement matters before Federal district courts in Delaware, Texas, and Cali-
`
`fornia. (Ex. 1035, ¶ 2).
`
`Mr. Stiernberg has established familiarity with the subject matter at issue in
`
`this proceeding. (Id., ¶ 9). U.S. Patent No. 8,218,481 is involved in parallel litiga-
`
`tion filed by Patent Owner against Petitioners in the United States District Court
`
`for the District of Delaware (Civil Action No. 15-cv-545-SLR). (Id.). Quinn

`Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP represents Petitioners in this litigation. (Id.).
`
`Mr. Stiernberg has appeared as counsel for Petitioners in this litigation and is ac-

`tively involved in all aspects of the district court proceedings. (Id.). Therefore,
`
`good cause exists to admit Mr. Stiernberg pro hac vice in this proceeding.
