`
`
`Power Integrations, Inc. (“Patent Owner”) filed, with prior
`authorization from the Board, an Unopposed Motion to Withdraw Lead
`Counsel and Substitution of Counsel. Paper 22.2 The Motion requests:
`(a) withdrawal of currently designated lead counsel Mr. Stephen Schaefer;
`(b) designation of current backup counsel Mr. Neil Warren as lead counsel;
`(c) addition of Mr. John C. Phillips as first backup counsel; and (d) addition
`of Mr. Howard Pollack (admitted pro hac vice) as backup counsel. Id. at 1.
`Patent Owner argues that good cause exists for the requested change because
`it previously granted Power of Attorney to attorneys associated with the
`customer number for Fish & Richardson, P.C. and Mr. Schaefer has left that
`firm. Id. at 1–2. Patent Owner states that Semiconductor Components
`Industries, LLC d/b/a ON Semiconductor (“Petitioner”) does not oppose the
`Motion. Id. at 2.
`We agree that good cause exists for the requested change of counsel
`and therefore grant the motion.
`
`It is:
`ORDERED Mr. Stephen Schaefer is removed as lead counsel for
`Patent Owner;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Mr. Neil Warren is designated as lead
`counsel for Patent Owner;
`
`
`2 For expediency, we refer to the papers filed in IPR2016-01590. Patent
`Owner filed similar papers in IPR2016-01592, -01594, -01595, -01597, and
`-01600.
