`Mary Ann ‘Pike has a B.S. in electrical engineering and an M.A. in profes-
`
`sional writing from Carnegie Mellon University. She has experience in soft-
`ware design and development, and is currently working as a technical writer
`
`at the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.
`
`Peter Kent is the author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Internet (Alpha
`Books).

`Kamran Husain is an independent consultant with experience in UNIX sys-
`
`tems programming, X Windows, Motif, Microsoft Windows and specializes in
`
`Real Time systems applications. He is a University of Texas at Austin alumni.
