`NMR Percent Purity Analysis for Creatine Hydrochloride
`

`Two different manufactured samples of Creatine Hydrochloride were submitted
`by Vireo System, Inc. to be analyzed for the percent purity of Creatine
`Hydrochloride to the percent purity of unreacted Creatine Monohydrate by NMR
`Method.
`
`Sample from Method Manufactured 1: Acetyl Chloride.
`
`A weight of 20mg of the white solid was dissolved in 600ul DMSO-d6. The DMSO-
`d6 solution was transferred to 5mm glass NMR tube and loaded to Avance 400
`MHz Bruker instrument prob. Collected 32 scan on the NMR and integrated the
`result of the proton (hydrogen atom) NMR spectra. 1H NMR (400MHz, DMSO-d6)
`Chemical Shifts in ppm: 2.92(S, 3H, CH3, methyl), 4.16(S, 2H, CH2, methylene),
`7.60(S,3H, NH3, amine).
`
`The sample percent purity of Creatine Hydrochloride was greater or equal to 98%
`compare to less or equal 2% of the Creatine Monohydrate by comparing the area
`under the water peak in the NMR spectra to the area under the Creatine peak in
`the NMR spectra.
`
