`Granting Motion for Pro Hac Vice Admission of Yuan Liang

`1 This order addresses identical applications for pro hac vice admission filed
`in both cases. Therefore, we issue one order to be filed in each case.

`As authorized in the Notice of Filing Date Accorded to Petition (Paper
`
`3), Petitioner, WhatsApp Inc. (“Petitioner”), moves for admission pro hac
`vice of Mr. Yuan Liang (Paper 24, “Motion”).2 Patent Owner, Triplay, Inc.,
`did not file an opposition to the Motion. The Motion is granted. See 37
`C.F.R. § 42.10(c); see also IPR2013-00639, Paper 7 (setting forth
`requirements for pro hac vice admission). 3
`It is
`ORDERED that the Motion seeking admission pro hac vice for Yuan
`Liang is granted;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Yuan Liang is authorized to represent
`Petitioner as back-up counsel in this proceeding;
`FURTHER ORDERED that a registered practitioner must remain as
`lead counsel throughout the proceeding;
`FURTHER ORDERED that Yuan Liang is to comply with the Office
`Patent Trial Practice Guide and the Board’s Rules of Practice for Trials, as
`set forth in Part 42 of the C.F.R.; and
`FURTHER ORDERED that Yuan Liang is to be subject to the
`Office’s disciplinary jurisdiction under 37 C.F.R. § 11.19(a), and the
`USPTO Rules of Professional Conduct set forth in 37 C.F.R. §§ 11.101 et.
`seq.
