`SmartSwing Introduces
`Affordable Intelligent Golf Club
`
`Austin, Texas, January 23, 2006
`
`SmartSwing announced its new DS300 club today. Just in
`time for golf season, this club will offer the most popular
`features of SmartSwing’s existing LS clubs at a more
`affordable price and to a worldwide market. The official
`debut of the DS300 will take place at the 2006 PGA
`Merchandise Show & Convention from January 26th
`through the 29th at the Orange County Convention
`Center in Orlando, Florida. Attendees can swing the club
`and see the details of their swing in 3-D on the PC. The
`DS300 is regularly priced at $449, but a special
`introductory price of $399 will be available during the
`PGA Merchandise Show.
`
`Dick Eyestone, CEO and founder of SmartSwing, stated,
`"Sales of the existing product line have shown there is
`great demand for the club’s functionality, and through
`our continuing innovation and price reduction efforts we
`can now reach the untapped market of golfers who want
`this powerful teaching aid at a competitive price." He is
`also excited by the fact that this new product will be
`offered worldwide, not just in the US and Canada.
`
`Circuitry embedded in the shaft of the club collects
`information and records the position of your club as you
`swing. The collected data is stored in the club’s memory
`and is easily downloaded to your PC at a later time.
`SmartSwing Software enables you to observe your swing
`in 3-D and to critically analyze it. The new DS300 club
`connects to the PC via a USB cable to download captured
`swings, allowing for a lower cost product than the
`wireless connection offered in the LS300.
`
`The DS300 is offered in SmartSwing’s drivers, fairway
`woods, and irons, or the circuitry may be fitted to a user’s
`existing club.

`
`About SmartSwing
`
`SmartSwing is an Austin, TX based company that has
`developed a revolutionary golf learning system. Its line of
`intelligent golf clubs contain patent pending technology,
`that for the first time allows a golfer to visualize and
`analyze his swing. During normal play or practice,
`SmartSwing clubs record all relevant swing data for
`future analysis. Using SmartSwing software in
`conjunction with a DS300 or LS300 club, a golfer has the
`unique capability to analyze his swing by superimposing
`it upon a known good or 'reference' swing. Sophisticated
`analytics allow for a detailed diagnosis of swing problems
`and learning progression from swinging on plane, to
`distance, to consistency. The result - accelerated learning
`and greater enjoyment of the game.
