`1, Thomas H. L. Selby, am more than twenty-one years of age, am

`competent to present this affidavit, and have personal knowledge of the facts set
`
`forth herein.

`I have over sixteen years of patent litigation experience.
`

`This affidavit is given in support of the patent owner Alcon Research,
`
`Ltd. Motion for Pro I-lac Vice Admission.
`

`I am a member in good standing of the bars of the State of Texas, the
`
`District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
`

`I have never been suspended or disbarred from practice before any
`
`court or administrative body.
`
`5.
`
`No court or administrative body has ever denied my application for
`
`admission to practice before it.
`
`6.
`
`No court or administrative body has ever imposed sanctions or
`
`contempt citations on me.
`

`I have read and will comply with the Office of Patent Trial Practice
`
`guide and the Board’s Rules of Practice for Trials set forth in part 42 of 37 C.F.R.

`I understand that I will be subject to the USPTO Code of Professional

`Responsibility set forth in 37 C.F.R. §§ ll.l0l et seq. and will be subject to

`disciplinary jurisdiction under 37 C.F.R. § 1l.l9(a).

`I have applied to appear pro hac vice in two other proceedings before

`the Office in the last (3) years: (1) Patent Interference No. 105,838; and (2) Apotex,

`Inc. v. Wyeth LLC, IPR20l4-00115, challenging U.S. Patent No. 7,879,828.

`I am familiar with the subject matter at issue in the present
`
`proceeding. This familiarity comes from my experience representing Patent
`
`Owner as trial counsel in related district court litigation in the United States
`
`District Court for the District of Delaware in the following consolidated case:
