`Developing technology transfer programs and funded research projects. The
`technology transfer programs are targeted to increase the effectiveness of
`practicing industry professionals in industrial refrigeration, energy
`utilization, and HVAC. Industrial refrigeration has been a particularly strong
`focus area for Professor Reindl’s professional education program
`development. Professor Reindl has developed an internationally-recognized
`series of industrial refrigeration educational programs including a series of
`“best practice courses” in the area of process safety and risk management
`planning. In support of the Department of Mechanical Engineering,
`Professor Reindl collaborates with other ME faculty to advise graduate
`students on refrigeration and other energy-related projects.
