`On December 3, 2015, Petitioner Plaid Technologies, Inc. filed its Petition
`
`for inter partes review (IPR) of U.S. Patent No. 6,199,077 (the ’077 patent) along
`
`with the request fee of $9,000.00 and the post-institution fee of $14,000.00. The
`
`Board, however, determined not to institute IPR with respect to the ’077 patent.
`
`See Institution Decision, Paper 15 (Jun. 9, 2016); Decision Denying Petitioner’s
`
`Request for Rehearing, Paper 17 (Aug. 12, 2016). Accordingly, Petitioner requests
`
`a refund in the amount of $14,000.00 for the post-institution fees.
`
`Upon review and approval of this Request, Petitioner respectfully requests
`
`that the refund in the amount of $14,000.00 be issued as a check made out to Plaid
`
`Technologies, Inc. Petitioner further requests that the check be mailed to the
`
`undersigned lead counsel for Petitioner at the address provided below.
