`A conference call was held on Friday, December 4, 2015, to discuss
`the due date for filing the Patent Owner Preliminary Response in this
`proceeding and in IPR2016-00113. Counsel for Kia Motors America, Inc.
`(“Petitioner”), counsel for Nissan North America, Inc.1, counsel for Signal
`IP (“Patent Owner”), and Judges Petravick, Plenzler, and Tartal participated
`on the call.
`The parties agreed that the issues raised in this proceeding are the
`same as the grounds instituted in IPR2015-01004. The purpose of the call
`was to determine whether Patent Owner was willing to voluntarily waive, or
`shorten the due date for, the Patent Owner Preliminary Response. Due to the
`same challenges being raised in this proceeding as those instituted in
`IPR2015-01004, as the parties acknowledged, as well as the pending joinder
`motion in this proceeding (see Paper 2), we determine it appropriate to
`shorten the due date for filing Patent Owner’s Preliminary Response.
`The due date for filing the Patent Owner Preliminary Response in this
`proceeding is set to January 4, 2016. This date corresponds to the due date
`for filing Patent Owner’s Response in IPR2015-01004. See IPR2015-01004,
`Paper 12.

`ORDERED that the deadline for filing Patent Owner’s Preliminary
`Response in this proceeding is shortened to January 4, 2016.

`1 Nissan North America, Inc. is the petitioner in IPR2016-00113. The issues
`presented in this proceeding and in IPR2016-00113 are identical. The
`petitioner in each case seeks joinder with IPR2015-01004.
