`On October 10, 2015, Petitioner Costco Wholesale Corporation (“Petitioner”)
`
`filed a petition for inter partes review (“IPR”) challenging Claims 1 and 21 of U.S.
`
`Patent No. 8,544,136 (“the ‘136 Patent”) (Paper No. 1; corrected Nov. 3, 2015 as
`
`Paper No. 10). In challenging these two claims, Petitioner prepaid $14,000 for the
`
`post-institution fee (for up to 15 claims). The Board denied the petition on April 25,
`
`2016 (Paper No. 22) and denied Petitioner’s request for a rehearing on July 7, 2016
`
`(Paper No. 28).
`
`Because the IPR petition was not instituted, Petitioner respectfully requests a
`
`refund of $14,000 for the post-institution fee that was prepaid. Petitioner requests
`
`that the amount of $14,000 be refunded via check, payable to Costco Wholesale
`
`Corporation, delivered to the undersigned attorney at the address below.
