`
`refund of post-institution fees in the amount of $14,000.00 to be paid to deposit

`
`On October 2, 2015, Petitioners filed a Petition for inter partes review of
`
`U.S. Patent No. 6,611,349. As required by 37 C.F.R. § 42.15(a), Petitioners
`
`deposited $23,000.00 with the USPTO at the time of filing the Petition to cover
`
`associated fees. Petitioners’ payment consisted of $9,000.00 in fees associated
`
`with the request for inter partes review, and a further $14,000.00 in post-institution
`
`fees.
`
`On March 28, 2016, the Board issued an Order denying institution. (Paper
`
`13.) On April 27, 2016, Petitioners timely requested rehearing of the Board’s
`
`Order denying institution. (Paper 14.) Petitioners’ rehearing request remained
`
`pending as of August 2, 2018, when Petitioners filed a motion to withdraw their
`
`rehearing request. (Paper 15.) The Board granted Petitioners’ motion to withdraw
`
`on August 21, 2018. (Paper 16.) Accordingly, Petitioner requests a refund of the
`
`post-institution fees paid to the USPTO in connection with this proceeding,
`
`totaling $14,000.00, to be paid to deposit account number 15-0030.
