`asserted, but was addressed by the Court pursuant to motion for joinder by the
`
`defendants in West View Research, LLC v. Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (3:14-cv-
`
`02677).
`
`Petitioner further updates these mandatory notices to identify the appeal of
`
`the December 11, 2015, Order Granting Motions for Judgment on the Pleadings in
`
`West View Research, LLC v. Tesla Motors, Inc., Case No. 3:14-cv-02679 (S.D.
`
`Cal.), and of the March 31, 2016, Order Granting Motions for Judgment on the
`
`Pleadings in West View Research, LLC v. Audi AG, et al., Case No. 3:14-cv-02668
`
`(S.D. Cal.). The appeal is captioned as West View Research, LLC v. Audi AG et al.,
`
`Case No. 16-1947 (Fed. Cir.).

`Petitioner further updates these mandatory notices to include a copy of the

`Related Matters: The following judicial matter may affect, or may be affected by, a

`decision in this inter partes review: West View Research, LLC v. Audi AG, et al.,

`No. 3:14-cv-02668-BAS-JLB (S.D. Cal.) (copies of the March 31, 2016 Order
`
`Granting Motions for Judgment on the Pleadings, the March 31, 2016 Judgment,
`
`and the April 29, 2016 Notice of Appeal are attached as Exhibits 1022, 1023, and
`
`1024, respectively), in which VWGoA d/b/a Audi of America, Inc., Volkswagen

`AG (which is the parent of VWGoA, as stated above), and Audi AG (which is a

`subsidiary of Volkswagen AG) are defendants. In this litigation, West View has

`the claims of U.S. Patent No. 8,065,156 (“the ’156 patent”), which is being

`et al., No. 3:14-cv-02668-BAS-JLB (S.D. Cal.) is under appeal in the Federal
`
`Circuit (Case No. 16-1947) (copies of the May 2, 2016 Notice of Docketing and
`
`the May 9, 2016 Order Consolidating Appeals are attached as Exhibits 1025 and
`
`1026, respectively).
