`1 This Order addresses issues that are identical in all three cases. We
`exercise our discretion to issue one order to be filed in each case. The
`parties are not authorized to use this style heading for any subsequent
`papers.

`On February 15, 2016, Petitioner filed an Unopposed Motion for
`certain Counsel to Withdraw in each of the above-captioned proceedings.
`IPR2015-01898, Paper 39; IPR2015-01899, Paper 39; IPR2015-01902,
`Paper 29. We authorized this motion by email on February 10, 2017.
`Petitioner requests that J. Steven Baughman (Reg. No. 47,414),
`Nicole M. Jantzi (Reg. No. 50,364), and Megan F. Raymond (Reg.
`No. 72,997) be permitted to withdraw. IPR2015-01898, Paper 39, 1.2
`Petitioner’s Power of Attorney appoints “the Practioner(s) associated with
`USPTO Customer No. 28120” to represent it in these proceedings.
`Paper 1, 2. Petitioner explains that the Power of Attorney in these cases
`covers only practitioners of Ropes & Gray LLP. IPR2015-01898,
`Paper 39, 1. The motion represents that Mr. Baughman and Ms. Jantzi are no
`longer affiliated with Ropes & Gray. The motions, signed by Ms. Raymond,
`indicate that Ms. Raymond will no longer be affiliated with Ropes & Gray,
`as of February 20, 2017. Id. The motions further represent that “Mr.
`Baughman’s and Ms. Jantzi’s current firms have not been retained in this
`matter.” Id. at 1–2. Finally, the motions represent that they are unopposed.

`Patent Owner also filed new Mandatory Notices naming Gabrielle E.
`Higgins (Re.g No. 38,916) as Lead Counsel and Kathryn N. Hong (Reg. No.
`63,693) as Back-Up Counsel. IPR2015-01898, Paper 40; IPR2015-01899,
`Paper 40; IPR2015-01902, Paper 30. In its motion, Petitioner explains that

`these individuals are affiliated with Ropes & Gray, and the previously filed
`Power of Attorney is not revoked. IPR2015-01898, Paper 39, 2.
`We note that our authorization for the motion stated that the attorneys
`seeking to withdraw make the request. Here, Petitioner, not the withdrawing
`counsel, has made the request. Id. at 1. In the interests of economy, we will
`excuse this lapse by Petitioner in following our instruction and rules.
`However, in the interests of ensuring that Mr. Baughman and Ms. Jantzi
`receive adequate notice of the actions conducted on their behalf, we direct
`Petitioner to serve this Order on Mr. Baughman and Ms. Jantzi. Should Mr.
`Baughman or Ms. Jantzi have any objection to this Order, they should
`contact the Board via email at Trials@uspto.gov within three days of their
`receipt of the order to schedule a call with the Board.
`After considering Petitioner’s Motions, it is
`ORDERED that Petitioner’s Unopposed Motions for Counsel to
`Withdraw are granted;
`FURTHER ORDERED that J. Steven Baughman (Reg. No. 47,414),
`Nicole Jantzi (Reg. No. 50,364), and Megan F. Raymond (Reg. No. 72,997)
`are considered to have withdrawn as counsel for Petitioner and no further
`filings are necessary to effectuate their withdrawal; and
`FURTHER ORDERED that Petitioner is directed to serve this Order
`on Mr. Baughman and Ms. Jantzi.
