`Pursuant to the Patent and Trademark Office’s Final Rule Setting and
`
`Adjusting Patent Fees, 78 Fed. Reg. 4212, 4232–4234 (Jan. 18, 2013), Enfora, Inc.,
`
`Novatel Wireless Solutions, Inc., and Novatel Wireless, Inc. (collectively,
`
`“Petitioners”) requests a refund in the amount of $18,400 to be paid to Deposit
`
`Account Number 50-2613.
`
`On August 4, 2015, Petitioner filed a Petition for inter partes review of U.S.
`
`Patent No. 8,648,717 (“the ’717 Patent”) with the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
`
`In accordance with the fee schedule specified in 37 C.F.R. § 42.15(a), Petitioner
`
`deposited an electronic payment at the time of filing of the Petition, including
`
`$9,800.00 for fees associated with Petitioner’s request for review and a further
`
`$18,400 for post-institution fees.
`
`On February 8, 2016, the Board entered a Decision denying institution of the
`
`petition. Accordingly, Petitioner requests a refund in the amount of $18,400 for the
`
`post-institution fees that it has paid, which are no longer necessary.
