`RE: IPR2015-01328 Email request for permission from PTAB
`
`Kevin,
`
`
`The customers are not RPIs because they did not have knowledge of or participate in the filing of the IPR petition.
`
`
`The grant of CeramTec’s request will not prevent CeraMedic from challenging CeramTec’s RPI designation. Moreover,
`by CeraMedic’s logic, it would render this IPR petition fatally defective. Therefore, please explain CeraMedic’s
`opposition to the request.
`
`CeramTec does not intend to withdraw the IPR petition (IPR2015‐01328).
`
` I
`
` will send the request to the PTAB later today and note your opposition.
`
`
`Regards,
`Gina

`Subject: RE: IPR2015-01328 Email request for permission from PTAB
`
`Gina,
`
`CeraMedic opposes CeramTec’s request. Please explain CeramTec’s basis for seeking to remove its customers as RPIs in
`Case IPR2015‐01328. Please also explain why CeramTec, if it removes its customers as RPIs in Case IPR2015‐01328,
`should be allowed to proceed on a petition that CeramTec knows does not name all RPIs.
`
` I
`
` will follow up with my availability for a conference call with the Board next week in a subsequent email. And further to
`my letter of June 10, 2015, please advise tomorrow, June 19, whether CeramTec will be withdrawing the Petition in Case
`IPR2015‐01328.
`
`Regards,
`Kevin

`Subject: IPR2015-01328 Email request for permission from PTAB
`
`Kevin,
`
`Tomorrow we are going to ask permission from the PTAB to file by no later than June 30 an amended Mandatory Notice
`to remove the Real Parties in Interest (RPIs) that were identified in the IPR petition filed on June 8, 2015.
`
`Please indicate whether you will oppose this request. Should the PTAB ask for a telephone conference with the parties
`to discuss this request, please provide dates/times for a conference call with the PTAB next week.
`
`Thank you,
