`In the above-captioned Inter Partes Review (IPR) proceeding, Petitioner respectfully

`requests refund of the IPR post-institution fee of $14,000.00.
`
`The post-institution fee (USPTO fee code 1414 – $14,000), along with the IPR request
`
`fee (USPTO fee code 1406 – $9,000), was paid by the Petitioner by credit card via PRPS on May
`
`29, 2015.
`
`A joint motion to terminate the instant IPR proceeding was filed on August 14, 2015, and
`
`the motion was granted by the Patent and Trial and Appeal Board on August 27, 2015. Since the
`
`instant IPR proceeding was dismissed prior to the Board instituting a review, refund of the post-
`
`institute fee is believed to be appropriate.
`
`Therefore, Applicant respectfully requests that a refund be issued for the amount of
`
