`1 This Order addresses issues that are identical in related cases. Therefore,
`we exercise our discretion to issue one order to be filed in each case.
`The parties, however, are not authorized to use this style heading in any
`subsequent papers.

`Trial has been instituted as to claims 1–18 of U.S. Patent
`No. 5,591,678 (Ex. 1001) in both IPR2015-01201 and IPR2016-00209.
`See IPR2015-01201, Paper 6; IPR2016-00209, Paper 12. Currently, the Oral
`Hearing for IPR2015-01201, if requested, is scheduled for August 11, 2016,
`and the Oral Hearing for IPR2016-00209, if requested, is scheduled for
`October 13, 2016. See IPR2015-01201, Paper 7; IPR2016-00209, Paper 13.
`The parties previously have indicated an interest in consolidating the
`schedules of these two proceedings, to the extent possible. See
`IPR2015-01201, Paper 12; IPR2016-00209, Paper 8. Although we denied
`Petitioner’s Motion requesting IPR2016-00209 be joined with
`IPR2015-01201 (see IPR2016-00209, Paper 14), we recognize there may be
`some efficiencies for the Board and the parties if the Oral Hearings are held
`on the same day. Accordingly, if agreement is reached by the parties, the
`parties may jointly file a request that both Oral Hearings take place on the
`same date.
`Any such request must be filed no later than April 30, 2016. In the
`request, the parties should provide the Board with at least three options for a
`proposed date of the combined Oral Hearings. The proposed dates shall be
`on or before October 13, 2016, i.e., the Oral Hearing date already set in
`IPR2016-00209. If the parties are unable to come to an agreement, or a joint
`request is not filed, the dates scheduled for the Oral Hearings shall remain as
`set in the respective Scheduling Orders (IPR2015-01201, Paper 7;
`IPR2016-00209, Paper 13).

`It is:
`ORDERED that the parties are authorized to file a joint request that
`the Oral Hearings in IPR2015-01201 and IPR2016-00209 take place on the
`same date;
`FURTHER ORDERED that any such request shall be filed no later
`than April 30, 2016, and shall include at least three proposed dates for the
`combined Oral Hearings. The proposed dates shall be on or before
`October 13, 2016; and
`FURTHER ORDERED that if a joint request is not filed, the dates
`scheduled for the Oral Hearings shall remain as set in the respective
`Scheduling Orders (IPR2015-01201, Paper 7; IPR2016-00209, Paper 13).
